World of dreams

You hold me in a world of dreams
Enthralling me with pain and fire
Leading me into submission
Encouraging me to be my best

Taking hold of my weaknesses
And turning them into strengths
Making of me more than I could hope
Forcing me to go beyond my best

You guide my spirit with discipline
Pain and love you make as one
Pushing my boundaries to extremes
Training me to be at my best


Today and today and then tomorrow
I will lie quiet at your feet
Knowing you will leave your mark
I am minded always to be my best
